Just wana share wif u guys a photo I took at Chinese Garden a few months back. I was doing some color correction to post it to my photoblog but I found out something is not quite right. Not manipulated in any way except for the initial color correction and the image enhancement (some curves to boost the contrast). Tell me what u think.

Anyway, view the rest of the (not so spooky photos) photos at chinese garden here

Another off day today, and I've yet to sleep! Don't matter, since my body clock have been much abused with button-mashing on my xbox. Playing Shadowrun online really got me to realise that being a noob is really downright frustrating, but what the heck - it's the fun that matters. More games later today, but only after a short trip to Grammophone which I've been itching to get my first HD DVD title.

That'll be a few hours away, but for now it's Ghost Hunt! I got really spooked after looking at the flashless photo Brad Hills took. Give me the creeps... but what the heck!

Now where's the can of Boosta..

Not many photos really, since I got distracted by lots of ants! Nevertheless it's one of my favourite place for nature snaps! More photos to be added soon...

Considering the video at the mall will be the last ever from my trusty Sony compact, which died at the age of 4. Still young if you ask me, but what's gone is gone and now I need a new compact! There's a small list on my mind, but I guess I'll wait for more upcoming models on the Lumix and Sony lines. Anyway, I suppose I won't be needing one untill my next field trip hopefully by early next year. Anyway I've only got 2 days of leave left which I intend to save it for my birthday! Talk about field trips, Am and I decided to mark our maps on certain parts of Indonesia, cancelling our initial plans on India due to the recent virus outbreak. I'd very much would love to get on our original plan, but guess we will have to see on the outcome of the situation there.

What's up lately? Nothing much really. I've been busy doing alot of reading, even keeping the keyboard away from playing WOW for quite some time now. The game got me glued to my seat most of the time, so I suppose I really need to space out the time between fun and.. self interest (I guess both are the same anyway).

Like a yearly pilgrimage I went down to Bendemeer the other day. I need to get the memories inside of me. Walked my own pace along the places that I've used to set my foot on. Rekindling the memories just made me feel wholesome. By the way a very old friend of mine will be getting married this weekend at Geylang Bahru, so I guess I'll walk around there too. I would not like to miss getting familiar all over again on my childhood playgrounds.

Have you guys seen the movie Transformers? I'd expect your answer would be yes, but don't ask me... I've yet to watch it. Blame it on irregular schedules and misappointed kakis. I wouldn't go to the movies and watch it by myself, so I guess I'd ask a friend to accompany me (and pay for the tix if he/she have already watched it) or wait for the dvd to be released and watch the movie in high def at the comfort of my own home. Anyway I've heard everywhere that the movie got pretty good reviews.

Till then, cheeres!

Gaza got too much freebies up his sleeves. Thanks dude!

Despite being diagnosed with a combo of flu and fever, I've resisted the shivers to sit here in front of the laptop to play warcraft! Fun fun fun to take the aches away, at least since I've yet to send my 360 for repairs. My head still feels like a sunken warship. I'm skipping the cough mixture tho since I don't really want to spend the whole day sleeping!

I feel rather clueless on why I feel like it's my off day today since it's suppose to be my second morning shift. Probably the reason is being totally free in the afternoon after work and I got to treat myself on some photography reads to pass the time!

I've got myself WOW so now I can relive the quests with Azleathar, Gaza and kak Pah. I don't mind being held back on the levels, I'll just climb from the ground up!

At this point of time, I think I'm going to pay attention on the block of Cadbury and this book.

In the second instalment of the hit Marvel franchise, The Fantastic Four pulls up their sleeves once again in order to save planet earth from being destroyed. This time, the quad will be tested to the limit both physically and emotionally.

The wedding ceremony of Mr. Fantastic and Storm was abruptly put to a stop when a loud and devastating unidentified object whizzed past the rooftops of their residence. It was known as The Silver Surfer, a cosmic entity bound to slavery by his greater master - the devourer of planets named Galactus . After discovering earth during his universal scout and knowing that earth holds abundant energy for his master to feed upon, he sets Galactus to redeem it.

It's up to the Fantastic Four to save earth once again, and this time they will be allying with arch rival Dr. Doom, whom seeing Silver Surfer as a threat to his world dictatorial agenda.

I'd say Marvel really knows how to make its movies interesting every time, with new print characters being brought to life to the silver screen. The Silver Surfer looked anomalously freaky in the beginning of the movie, which made me imagined how believable and scary it would be to have something like it for real! Even when he's powerless without his board, he looked alien enough. Galactus on the other hand, was less comparable to his humanoid print character. In the movie he was simply a vast space storm, with extending claw like hands ready to grip earth and suck it's core out.

To wrap things up, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer is a pretty fantastic movie. With the introduction of Silverado and his master, this would make every Marvel fan grinning from ear to ear. Make mine Marvel!
